Despite questions remaining over the club’s ability to beat top sides, last matchday’s 5-1 demolition of Fulham pushed Arsenal up to fourth in the Premier League (PL) and means they’ve now won nine games in succession - their best run since April 2015.
Six straight wins in the league, preceded by two defeats, means Arsenal are just one of three sides not to have drawn this season. Indeed, you have to go back to January this year to find the last time Arsenal shared the points in the PL - a run of 24 games. At home, ‘The Gunners’ have lost just once in their last 14 games (W12, D1, L1).
Opponents Leicester have been blowing hot and cold this season and subsequently find themselves mid table after a four win, four loss start. Away form also mirrors home form with two wins and two losses.
Leicester always seems to score however, with the team finding the net in 11 of their last 12 competitive games - eight of which saw them score two or more. Six of Leicester’s PL games this season have also seen both sides score.
