Leicester welcome Burnley to the King Power Stadium in what is often a tight fixture. Three of the last six league H2Hs have ended in a 1-0 result, and just one of those six resulted in a 2+ goal margin victory for either side.
However, goals may be on offer here this season. Both teams have scored in eight of Leicester’s 11 PL matches, and although in mixed form (W2, D1, L2) the ‘Foxes’ have found the net at least once in every PL game so far.
The ‘Foxes’ have also been ruthless against teams currently in the bottom half (W5, D1), scoring two or more goals in four of those six matches.
It may be a good time for the hosts to face Burnley then, as Sean Dyche’s men have thrown caution to the wind recently, conceding 13 goals in their last three PL games (4.33 on average per match). With that, Burnley have now kept a clean sheet in just one of their last 13 competitive matches.
Furthermore, 15 goals conceded from six away fixtures (2.5 on average) is the second worst in the league, and after a poor run of form (W1, D1, L3) Burnley sit just two points above the relegation zone.
