The Brown Antechinus is a small mammal that has dense fur Greyish-brown above and paler below, large thin ears, tail same length as body or shorter. This species holds the world record for being the world's smallest semeparous mammal.
The adult antechinus has a mass of 28g,they are nocturnal animals,its diets includes beetles,spiders and cockroaches.
The male die after the first breeding season, they have limited sexual time hence they use it effectively by doing at any place any time and with any one they see in front of them.
Hence exhaustion and stress leads to their death.
Before they die they want to do it with every female they meet on their way, they have limited sperm production because after they reach maturity sperm production stops.
They use two to three weeks mating with every female they meet...THEY ARE SMALL ANIMALS BUT THEY DO SEX MORE THAN ANY OTHER ANIMAL.
